[AJ is laying in bed, staring up at her pokedex. At first she was comparing typings for a new strategy, but that quickly devolved into her checking the cries of random pokemon.]
Maybe the ice cave has somethin' t'do with it. Or the lake makin' the air cooler than other cities.
Ugh, the ice path. You know I'm actually glad you haven't gotten your Glacier Badge yet. It gives us a good reason not to go through that nightmare yet.
[She grimaces just at the thought of stepping foot inside that place.]
I suppose that's just procrastination on my end, but I hardly care right now, to be honest.
I just wish there was a way we could skip th'whole thing. Winter's just about the worst time a' year as it is. I ain't about to try an' make it colder.
I wish so too, but the fliers can't make it to Blackthorne without having been there at least once, and there's no other way to reach it. So we really only have the one option.
[She heaves a bitter sigh, stuffs a bookmark into her book, and levers herself up out of her chair to walk over to the bed.]
And part of me thinks it'll actually beat basically being trapped in the inn. I think I'll go stir-crazy if I have to stay here much longer.
2/24 [Action]
Twilight is sitting in a chair next to the window, reading (of course) and occasionally glancing out the window with a sigh.]
You know, is it just me or does the snow seem even higher around Mahogany than it did elsewhere?

[She sighs a bit at the fact, but there's not much to be done about it.]
We should go out and get some ice cleats one of these days, come to think of it.

[Snicker.]

[Her eyes are rolling up into her head, but her tone's more self-deprecating than scathing.]

At least we're warm. Plus since I'm growin' apples on Sprout I can keep my orchard safe in the PC.
no subject
Oh yeah, how's that going, by the way?

If everythin' goes right, he should be bloomin' in a few weeks. That is, if he can keep growin' while in the PC.
[She's not about to withdraw him and risk the cold killing the tree.]

Hmmm, they don't gain levels in there, but I don't know about regular growth.

[She sighs. She hates not knowing. All part of winter hurting her crops.]
