What in tarnation is this!?

[The gear feed opens on the ground, half-obscured by grass. Not too far in the distance, a young, fair-skinned girl sits shakily on her knees, her face obscured by a ten-gallon hat and a large golden ponytail. Her knees are scuffed and her face is dirty, signs she just fell from her feet. However, rather than trying to get back up, she remains on her knees, staring at her hands in disbelief.]

I swear... [She pants.] I swear... if this is one of your tricks, Discord... [She tries to get back on her feet, but stumbles backwards. Her hat falls off her head, revealing her freckled face and shocking green eyes.]

You ain't gonna have any teeth when I'm through with you!!

[She hesitates for a moment, before tapping the button. The ball opens, and in a bright flash of light, out dives a young Growlithe. The enthusiastic pup lands in her arms, knocking her backwards. She stumbles a bit, but manages to keep her balance this time.]
