006 Bushels ❦ [Video/Action for the ponies]
Jessie! Winona! Put 'em up!
[People of Johto, you're in for a treat today. A large herd of Mamoswine and Piloswine are stampeding down Route 36, blasting everything in front of them out of the way with Ice Shards and Mud Bombs. The ice-types have no problem ripping through the frozen snow, and in hot persuit is our favorite southern belle, trying to remove her bulky snow jacket in order to keep up.]
Come on, you two! If they get ahead of us, they'll tear through the park!
[And out comes the trusty lasso. She tosses it out, catching the front Mamoswine by its tusk. It stomps in protest, swinging its head around, but Applejack doesn't let go, she grabs the lasso with both hands, pulling as hard as she can. Winona, her Eevee jumps onto the other side of the herd, barking and yipping at stampeding pigs.]
We need t'slow them down! Jessie, do your stuff!
[The small Growlithe barks, tucking herself in and racing forward in a brilliant Flame Wheel. The newfound speed allows her to get ahead of the herd, pushing the snow aside and melting any in her path. The pushed snow forms a small wall, blocking their progress forward. Finally, the head Mamoswine finally relents, turning in the direction AJ was pulling it, the rest of the herd following. They start to slow down, their full-on run turning into a slow shuffle. The head Mamoswine gives a frustrated moo, shaking its head as Applejack removes the lasso from his tusk. She smiles, patting the mammoth on the side.]
Thank ya kindly. Just don't go bringin' your herd into populated areas, alrighty?
[Suddenly, she's distracted by Jessie barking. She whips around and catches the eye of a single Piloswine, still rushing forward at full speed. She snorts, reaching into her bag.]
Oh no you don't--
[Jessie nods knowingly to her master, going back into her Flame Wheel and charging at the pig. She catches it on the nose and shoots up its body and into the air.]
Good girl, Jessie! Now bring 'em down!
[The firey hound begins spinning in the opposite direction, reducing it's speed, before breaking out of the flame wheel. With a bark, she readies a fire fang, rocketing back to earth with full force, biting the ice pokemon's side. It squeals, falling to the side, squirming to get the fire-type off of it, but it won't have the opportunity, as Applejack retrieves a pokeball from her bag, launching it. It shakes several times, Jessie circling it in anticipation. When it clicks shut, the dog proudly barks, picking it up in her mouth and bringing it back to her master, who pets her enthusiastically on the top of her head.]
Way t'go, girl!

[Though now that the adrenaline is rubbing off, she's suddenly realizing that she's very, very cold. Where did that jacket go...]

M-much better. [Don't mind the teeth chattering. Snow sucks.]

[She hugs her close.]

You're prolly right. It is gettin' pretty late.

[She takes Applejack's hands, rubbing them to try and make them warmer.]
action
Maybe. A reckless spirit like that'll be a real interestin'. Wild apples taste real sweet, but there's a better chance it'll wind up rotten.
[But she's getting too much into her apple analogies again.]
I reckon we'll see what happens.
action
[More tackling, yaaaay]
action
[More now than ever.]
action
[Yeah, totally! She's almost stopped fainting every time they hold eye contact for over two minutes! She's Hercules.]
action
[She leans forward and pecks her forehead. Stay safe.]

[She sighs quietly.] Maybe in town I can find some practice dummies or somethin'...
action
[This is her being defiant! ... Sort of.]
[See? Debilitating fear can be good thing.]
action
Alright. If you're feelin' that strongly about it, then I reckon I can't stop you. But we're gettin' into town an' finding somethin' else for them to attack. Okay?
action
[She smiles, proud... but then gets worried she might have made Applejack mad. So, very quickly, she summons enough courage to lightly kiss Applejack on the nose, and then ducks her head low since that action has made her deeply embarrassed. Moe pony is moe.]
action
I ain't mad. Don't worry.
[Body language. She can read you like a book, missy.]
