[Sometime late in the day, just outside the city, there's a blinding flash of light, followed by a low, deep, loud groaning noise. Anyone wandering through the trees may catch the sight of something purple before the shadow of the beast blocks your view. Eventually, when the groaning stops, AJ scrambles for her 'gear and clicks on the feed.]

[And indeed, it's just moments before Twilight pounds on up to her, panting for breath from running.]

Applejack! What's- [huff] going on? [puff] What happened? [huff puff]

[AJ is a little busy, sitting in the snow, and staring up at the gigantic purple balloon floating in the air.]

[Twilight had hit it off pretty quickly with the Drifloon, which wasn't very hard, really. So recognizing his evolved form was easy for her.]

He evolved... I've never actually seen it happen before.

[She reaches out slowly to touch him, a little bit awed.]

[Spook lets out a happy cry, reaching down with its two front arms and lifts her gently into the air. Look how big I got, Auntie Twilight!]

I ain't never seen anythin' get this big before.

[Just how many Aunties do you have, bucko? Biggest family ever. She laughs a bit and reaches out to stroke his face.]

He's amazing... I wish I'd been here to see it.

[The best family ever. For sure. Spook is just going to happily float, hugging Twi like a child does a teddy bear.]

I wish ya did, too. But I reckon you'll see your share of evolutions, soon enough.

Yeah... Spike'll be a while, but I really do need to get some new ones. It's been over a week since I got here, I should get on that.

[She looks down at AJ.] What have you seen around here?

'Round these parts? I've seen them little bunny-lookin' pokey-mon. Nidorans? I've been hearin' stories 'bout pokey-mon that can do all sorts a' tricks with its mind. Sounds a whole lot like magic t'me, but it'll disappear if you try an' catch it.

Wait... You mean an Abra? There are Abras around here?

[Twilight's eyes widen in excitement. Sorry Spook you're being temporarily ignored.]

They were one of the first Pokemon I looked up in the Pokedex! I wanted one so badly when I heard about them! Do you think we can go get one?

Yes! [She would probably start jumping around if Spook weren't holding onto her and trying to get her attention again. Instead she grabs hold of him and gives his huge body the best approximation of a hug she can.]

Oh this'll be perfect, AJ! An Abra's just what I need for the next spot on my team! Or, rather, an Alakazam is, but it's a really short evolutionary process from what I understand.

[Spook squeaks, slowly letting Twilight back down onto her feet. Applejack laughs, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.]

Any idea where to start?

Hmmm... Well, since we're already up here, we could spend a bit of time hunting. We can train a bit more while we're at it.

I don't think the Pokedex has a smell sample function... [She thinks about that for a while, then sighs.] We might just need to walk around until we try to find one.

By the way, you said you needed my help with this, didn't you? [She pats Spook's face again.] What can I do?

He's just so... big. I ain't sure how I can fit him in buildin's anymore.

It's worth a shot. It'll look a little disturbing at first, but if he's that scared of going in the ball it might be the only way.
