012 Bushels ❦ [Action for Cianwood/Video]
[AJ has been doing a lot of thinking lately. Being stuck in the Cianwood Inn nursing an injured leg for the last three weeks, thinking is all you really can do. She's managed to get out of bed enough to start exercising again, but she's still not able to keep up with training her pokemon just yet. Still, she's spent most of today resting in bed, a Togetic curled in her lap. The little fairy has never left her side since the injury, tending to every need she is capable of handling. Part of her is thankful, but part of her is sad. The caring, the dedication. It reminds her all to much of...
She huffs, reaching down and stroking the tiny creature's crest, who coos in response. Why is it that she can show so much affection to a pokemon, but she could only freeze up attempting the same to its former trainer? She couldn't give her the one thing that would make her truly happy in the last weeks of her being in this world? Her hand balls into a fist.
Damnit.]
What... do y'all do when you feel like you let somepony down?
[When you can't seem to forgive yourself, no matter how much you try.]

[He's mostly kidding, of course, although he wouldn't put it past her, given how unhappy she seemed with the thing...
The question, however, makes him grin.]
Yeah, figured that sounds better than Gin or Vodka!

I reckon the dress'd look a lot better on you, Rooster.
[Snicker.]

First: thanks, but no thanks. Dresses ain't my style and there's no way in hell I'm ever wearing one.
Second: that ain't fair. At least "Martini" sounds cool!
[Seriously, what kind of lame nickname is that? 8(]

It'd better be something awesome! The great Crow-sama deserves nothing less, don'tcha think?

[Or... anyone, really.]
C'mon, you can do better than that!

[He goes silent for a moment, thinking about it. Some really cool nickname... cool nickname...
Finally, Crow snaps his fingers with a triumphant grin.]
I know! How 'bout "The Great General of The Nine Skies"?
[For the love of Quetzalcoatl, do him a favor and save him from his own poor naming skills.]

[AJ will just... raise an eyebrow. What.]
I think I prefer "Rooster".

Meanwhile, Crow frowns at the lack of enthusiastic response.]
You can't say that! Don'tcha think rooster is kinda lame, anyway? It can't even fly!

Now that you mention it... Guess I didn't think 'bout it that way...
[He has to admit that is kind of cool.]

[You'd think the cowboy hat and the thick southern accent would be the first clues.]

Uhh... I guess? It's not like I've ever been to countryside to know what to expect...
[Save maybe for that one trip to Mexico or wherever Crash Town was, if that counts.]

First thing I'm gonna do is make sure you get out an' get a breath of fresh air, Sugarcube.

[Since sitting there all the time doesn't sound terribly exciting.]
So, how much longer do you need to stay there?

[Which is exactly what he would do in her place, but details.]

[He pauses, scratching his cheek thoughtfully before grinning brightly.]
Waaait a sec, now that I think about it, I've been to MooMoo Farm before! [More like passing by, but hey.] That counts?
