[Azalea is known for its beautiful forest, but here is a sight rarely seen.

In the middle of town, a large torterra walks, on its back is a large apple tree. The turtle happily marches through the streets, happy to show off the first of his ripe ruby fruits. Resting under the shade of this tree is Applejack, holding a newly-made Heavy Ball. Beside her is a bag full of various custom-made balls, a small collection made into something more useful.]

Y'all think you can grow apricorn trees on torterras too? I reckon you could make a mean profit sellin' home-grown pokeballs like this.

You know, when you said you were going to go visit Kurt and get some special pokeballs made, I had no idea you had such a collection.

Heather told me once they make cider out a'these things. Reckon I could keep the juice, an' use the husk for somethin' useful too.

The real question though is, when are you going to use these? I mean, we haven't actually gone Pokemon catching in some time and our collections are already pretty extensive.

I'll keep a few for myself, if I come across somethin' that I want to catch. Maybe sell off the rest, if there's folks lookin' for 'em.

Hey, I just thought of something. I'm pretty sure there are Turtwigs in the forest. We could probably get you enough for an orchard with a little time.

How many Turtwigs? Six, I imagine, just like a regular Pokemon party.

That it? You'd think they'd make some kind of exception t'ranch pokemon. It ain't like I'd be battlin' with 'em.

Well, now that I think about it, places like the Breeding Centre have a lot more than that out at a time... Maybe you can get some sort of special permission? I'm not sure where you'd apply for it though.

Gotta be somewhere, right? Maybe the gym leaders know. They seem t'be the expert on everythin' else.

Maybe they're the ones you need to get permission from. Them or the police.

... Or the Elite Four, but getting a meeting with them wouldn't be easy.

Probably when they decide they actually want to deal with the swarm of challengers they'll be getting as soon as they do.

Hey, you're askin' the wrong person. I don't know a thing about making cider one way or another.

Must be a little more complicated than squeezing them, though-- I mean, if they're hard enough to be hollowed out and made into Pokeballs.

Shouldn't be too different, just add some good yeast, cook it so y'don't get sick, then let it ferment.

Not too long from now, it'll be a nice drink on a hot day.

...I wasn't even aware you could plant different trees on Torterra in the first place. That actually has a great deal of interesting applications, thinking about it...

You gotta wait for the tree t'sprout, but they grow a whole lot quicker than they do in the ground.

That's interesting, though not particularly surprising. Pokemon are unusual like that, after all. Did you have to uproot the original tree to plant it, though?

'Fraid so. 'Course I did it when it was young, so the tree didn't get to it's full size.

Actually, that makes a lot of sense to me, thinking about it. I suspect it'd be fairly dangerous if you were attempting it on an adult... provided it was even possible to separate the two by that point.

Yeah, he an' that tree are two peas an' a pod now. Hard t'tell where one ends an' the other begins.

It's really quite interesting how many Pokemon seem to have symbiotic relationships like that --- well, mostly Grass types, but it's a bit extreme from my experience.

...then again, they're probably just magical on some level, so I suppose that's an easier explanation than anything else.

Yep. Magic sure makes things easier t'explain. Pokemon're probably the closest thing t'magic this place has.
