015 Bushels ❦ [Video, Action for Azalea]

[Azalea is known for its beautiful forest, but here is a sight rarely seen.

In the middle of town, a large torterra walks, on its back is a large apple tree. The turtle happily marches through the streets, happy to show off the first of his ripe ruby fruits. Resting under the shade of this tree is Applejack, holding a newly-made Heavy Ball. Beside her is a bag full of various custom-made balls, a small collection made into something more useful.]

Y'all think you can grow apricorn trees on torterras too? I reckon you could make a mean profit sellin' home-grown pokeballs like this.

Everything's all-natural with you, isn't it AJ?

[She is so amused, standing off to the side with a little grin.]

You know, when you said you were going to go visit Kurt and get some special pokeballs made, I had no idea you had such a collection.

The real question though is, when are you going to use these? I mean, we haven't actually gone Pokemon catching in some time and our collections are already pretty extensive.
friendyousohard: (Rarity did a good job didn't she?)

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-06-29 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
Once a businesspony, always a businesspony, hmm? Well it's not like we can't use the extra funds. TMs can get expensive.

At any rate, how are the apples? Sprout seems pretty proud of himself.
friendyousohard: (Glasses: 20% more nerdy)

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-06-29 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
Or on your own back. His soil must be really good.

Hey, I just thought of something. I'm pretty sure there are Turtwigs in the forest. We could probably get you enough for an orchard with a little time.
friendyousohard: (My hair static requires further study)

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-06-29 01:38 pm (UTC)(link)
How many Turtwigs? Six, I imagine, just like a regular Pokemon party.

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-06-30 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, now that I think about it, places like the Breeding Centre have a lot more than that out at a time... Maybe you can get some sort of special permission? I'm not sure where you'd apply for it though.
friendyousohard: (Elementary my dear Pinkie)

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-07-01 07:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Maybe they're the ones you need to get permission from. Them or the police.

... Or the Elite Four, but getting a meeting with them wouldn't be easy.

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-07-03 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
Probably when they decide they actually want to deal with the swarm of challengers they'll be getting as soon as they do.

... In which case I wouldn't hold your breath.
friendyousohard: (Pop Star Twilight!)

[personal profile] friendyousohard 2014-07-08 06:06 am (UTC)(link)
That's almost zen-like.

... Of course that means you'll have to bring me down too.
foolishwren: but whatever the hell is wrong with him is WAY funnier (honestly i COULD fix him)

[No video this time, but there's a chuckle in Heather's voice when she asks--]

So you went to that apricorn guy after all, huh?

Do those custom Pokeballs live up to the hype?
foolishwren: me: i am an atrocity to god, but thank you (someone: ur cute)

[personal profile] foolishwren 2014-06-30 06:18 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah?

What kind didja get?
foolishwren: and I'm a dancing frog in a top hat that keeps getting dragged off stage by a big hook. (gender is a performance)

[personal profile] foolishwren 2014-07-02 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
[She grins broadly, though without video it's hard to tell.]

Yeah? Figured out how to make the cider yet?
foolishwren: What is this, FAIL DAY?! (aw come on REALLY?)

[personal profile] foolishwren 2014-07-03 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, you're askin' the wrong person. I don't know a thing about making cider one way or another.

Must be a little more complicated than squeezing them, though-- I mean, if they're hard enough to be hollowed out and made into Pokeballs.
foolishwren: *runs directly into a doorframe for some reason* (oh yeah? you wanna see REAL bisexuality?)

[personal profile] foolishwren 2014-07-05 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well, I hope you're planning to share.

Thinking of opening a business?
foolishwren: I COMPLY, REVEALING THE FULL LENGTH DENIM TATTOOS ON BOTH LEGS. THE COP SCREAMS, DEFEATED. (THE COP GROWLS "TAKE OFF THOSE JEANS")

[personal profile] foolishwren 2014-07-06 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
Well, as long as we both acknowledge that the Poke-Prom is my selling-ground, I don't think we should have any problems.

[She says this with a playful edge in her voice.]
enjoymyatelier: no seriously what are you doing (uhhhhhhhh....)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-06-30 11:58 am (UTC)(link)
[Kayneth... looks slightly incredulous, but it's not a bad sort of incredulous. Really, it's more like...]

...I wasn't even aware you could plant different trees on Torterra in the first place. That actually has a great deal of interesting applications, thinking about it...
enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-07-01 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
That's interesting, though not particularly surprising. Pokemon are unusual like that, after all. Did you have to uproot the original tree to plant it, though?
enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-07-03 12:17 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, that makes a lot of sense to me, thinking about it. I suspect it'd be fairly dangerous if you were attempting it on an adult... provided it was even possible to separate the two by that point.
enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-07-03 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
It's really quite interesting how many Pokemon seem to have symbiotic relationships like that --- well, mostly Grass types, but it's a bit extreme from my experience.

...then again, they're probably just magical on some level, so I suppose that's an easier explanation than anything else.
enjoymyatelier: maybe he should check the foundations, come to think of it. (red car. good point.)

[personal profile] enjoymyatelier 2014-07-06 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
They probably are this place's version of magic --- at least, one of the few things capable of using it, anyway.

[...SHOULDN'T HE BE TALKING TO TWILIGHT ABOUT THIS INSTEAD...]

Damn, that's smart. I should get one of those.

I don't mind somethin' a little challenging. I've had a difficult few in the past--breaks up the terminal case of boredom, don't you think?
solas_ion: (Default)

[personal profile] solas_ion 2014-07-03 03:02 am (UTC)(link)

No kidding. I've gotten used to the idea of peace and quiet, but damn does it ever drive me crazy sometimes.
solas_ion: (in him resides strength of a hundred)

[personal profile] solas_ion 2014-07-03 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Guess that's true. Still, I'd like to see something interesting on occasion.

Hell, I don't know. Somethin' different to break up how damn repetitive it gets. I just want something interesting to do.
