[Good evening, residents of Johto. I hope you're a fan of loud sounds! The 'Gear feed opens to the sound of a loud crack of a backpack hitting a tree, before splashing down into a pile of snow.]

You ate all my food, you good-for-nothing thief! [A young woman's voice yells out in a heavy southern drawl. The target of her frustration wanders into view: a Munchlax, who takes the opportunity to rummage through her backpack for any morsel he might have left behind in his last raid. His eyes grow wide at the sight of the pokegear. It's so shiny and red, like a big yummy apple.

...And then anyone watching gets to find out what the inside of a Munchlax's mouth looks like.]

Gimme that! That ain't for eatin'!

[A woman's hand rips the 'Gear from the pokemon's mouth, the force causing her to topple backwards into the snow. She appears to be in her early twenties, her face dotted with freckles and framed with golden-blonde hair tied into a ponytail near the bottom. Wearing nothing but a pair of blue jeans and an orange button-down, she doesn't exactly look properly dressed for the weather. She shifts awkwardly in the snow, fumbling with the 'Gear.]

Darn these wiggly things, an' this weird body. [She snorts in frustration, before giving up and using her mouth to turn off the feed.]

[She grunts at the word "dummies". She's a lot of things, but she ain't no dummy. Still, Twilight suggests reading it, so she'll start skimming it over while she waits.]

[Even though flight is easily the fastest way to travel, and Violet and New Bark aren't that far apart, it's still a bit over an hour and a half before Twilight shows up as a speck on the horizon. A very, very rapidly growing speck, with how fast Spike can fly.

As they come in towards the town, they start to descend, heading straight for the gates leading out. Spike rushes down like a missile, swooping in and rushing until he's right above the ground. As he nears AJ, his wings flare wide, and he brings out his feet to land.

He stops just a few feet away from her, and greets her with a cheery growl. Twilight leaps off his back, and straight at Applejack with outstretched arms.]

AJ! It's so good to see you again!

[buckyouup]

[As the dragon comes in for the landing, Applejack dives out of the way, scared out of her wits by what looks like a living missile heading right for her. When Twilight speaks up, she sits up, her face and hair covered in snow, and her bare toes looking a bit blue.]

How in the hay did you learn to fly a dragon!?

[friendyousohard]

Well, he... really flies himself, I just hang on, and- Oh my Celestia, Applejack! Your feet!

[She kneels down and grabs one of AJ's feet with a very worried expression.] This is awful! We've got to get these warmed up right away. [Unclipping a ball from her belt, she tosses it into the air.] Come out, Pyrolepi!

[The enormous fire caterpillar poofs into existence right in front of AJ, and Twilight quickly sets her feet on her.] Don't worry. Pyrolepi's part fire, so she'll get your feet warmed back up in no time. Did your Munchlax really eat all your shoes and socks?

[buckyouup]

[Her eyes widen at the large fire bug. The scene unfolding before her was far from normal, but Twilight at least looked like she knew what she was doing.]

There ain't much in that backpack this thing didn't eat.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, they call it "munch" lax for a reason. Well, don't worry. I thought ahead.

[She swings her own backpack off her back and sets in down in front of Applejack, unzipping it to reveal a whole new set of winter-ready clothes!]

They're in my size, so they might not fit you perfectly, but it's got to be better than nothing, right?

[buckyouup]

[She chuckles, smiling.]

Twi, you're just about the greatest friend a gal could ask for.

[friendyousohard]

[She flushes, and ducks her head, rubbing the back of it in embarrassment. Pleased embarrassment, but embarrassment nonetheless.]

I'm just doing what you'd do for me in the same situation.

[buckyouup]

[And suddenly, nudity. Wasting no time, Applejack sheds her lighter clothes and starts wiggling her way into what Twilight has brought her.]

An' I'll be sure to return the favor.

[friendyousohard]

[Glancing over behind her, Twilight's relieved to see that no one else is outside. She, of course, couldn't care less, but it looks like it's time again to explain about humans and their silly taboos.]

I'm sure you will, AJ. [She turns back and sighs.] One thing I forgot to mention, though, and it's relevant to what you just did. For reasons none of them seem willing to explain to me, humans consider nudity taboo.

[buckyouup]

[She huffs.] Guess I can understand why. I mean, look how strange this here body is.

[She cups one of her breasts. What could these things possibly be useful for.]

[friendyousohard]

[Twilight's eyes follow that motion, and she can't help but study AJ's chest, thinking the exact same thing. Clearly they're mammary glands, but why do they need to be so large? Do human babies really need that much more milk than other creatures? And it's not like they're even swollen with milk now, for that to happen, Applejack would have to be-

She shoves her mind off of that thought train.] Some parts of it really do make no sense. I'm sure there's a logical reason for the way they look, but I've never been able to figure it out, myself. Anyway, what you're holding there is one of the parts they really don't want to see. The other parts are your flanks and genitals, though it probably goes without saying that in these bodies you can't really cover one of those and not the other without getting very creative.

[buckyouup]

S'long as it stays this cold... I ain't gonna worry about that kind of creativity.

[Because when it gets hot itchy, stuffy clothes are the last thing you want on you.]

[friendyousohard]

Well, we'll worry about that in summer. At the very least, they do have the decency to make summer clothes if they're going to be so absurd about it.

[Well, now that AJ's dressed for the weather...] So, do you think you're ready to fly?

[buckyouup]

[She finishes wriggling awkwardly into the new clothes. This new body is a bit difficult to move correctly. The clothes are a bit tight on her, but right now, she's just happy that she's warm.]

I reckon so.

[friendyousohard]

Alright. Here, I know you're still probably having some difficulty with your new legs, so I'll help you climb onto his back.

[She offers AJ her hand.]

[buckyouup]

[She nods, reaching up and taking Twilight's hand, gripping it hard.]

[friendyousohard]

[With a grunt of effort (she's still not the strongest girl around), Twilight pulls Applejack up onto Spike's back. The Dragonite decides to give a little assistance of its own, bending down a bit to make climbing on easier. Only once AJ looks fairly steady does Twilight let go.]

Okay, think you can hold on like that? [She slips onto her usual spot on Spike's back as she asks, not-so-coincidentally giving AJ something to actually hold on to.]

[buckyouup]

[Applejack clings to the dragon for dear life. These wiggly new "finger" things are really awkward, but oh by do they grab on tight.]

D-don't you worry, Twilight. I'll be just fine.

[friendyousohard]

Alright. Then here we go! Spike, Fly!

[Spike affirms his master's command with a bellow, and spreads his wings wide to take off into the sky.]

Getting off the ground is the worst part! Hang on tight!

[He begins to flap, raising off the ground slowly but surely, the wind made by his flapping wings buffeting the ponies.]

[buckyouup]

[Ohgodohgodohgod. Applejack clings as tight as she can, wincing her eyes shut.]

[friendyousohard]

[That's probably a fair reaction, really. They rise slowly, up to the treetops, moving forward a bit as they go...

Until Spike finally finds an air current. Finally, he's able to catch the wind and flare his wings out to soar. He still flaps to get some height, but now he can mostly focus on speed.

And holy crap is he fast when he gets going. They're now rushing over those trees at a clip that's as good as your average pegasus. The wind rushes past them, rustling their coats.]

I am so glad we're bundled up!

[buckyouup]

Y-you can say that again!

[Applejack, on the other hand, has decided that she is not opening her eyes for the next hour or so. Something about the wind, the cold temperature and oh Celestia the ground is so far away.]

[friendyousohard]

Did the others get in touch with you while I was flying down?

[She has to pitch her voice a little louder than she usually does to be heard over the flapping of Spike's wings, but she doesn't really mind as long as she doesn't actually have to yell.]

Y-yeah. Rainbow Dash was tellin' me a bit about that "Team Rocket", an' Fluttershy...

[She sighs.]

She looked real bad.
