011 Bushels ❦ [Video/Action for Violet]
[Applejack is standing under a tree, her gaze locked on a single red apple hanging from a branch. She grits her teeth. Dumb human body. If she was a pony, this wouldn't be any problem at all. But damnit, she was hungry. She had to try.]
Alright, Applejack. It's just like back home. Nice an' easy, no problem.
[She backs up a couple steps, before running at the tree. When she gets close, she brings up her leg, forcing it into the trunk of the tree with all her might. She stays there, for a moment, glaring at the trunk, which hasn't budged an inch. The adrenaline quickly wearing off, Applejack yelps, rolling off the tree and grabbing her ankle.]
Dang it! Dumb apple, why can't you just fall!?
[Suddenly, shifting in the branches! AJ's eyes quickly dart up, smiling in expectation. She closed her eyes, holding out her hands. Soon that delicious ruby would be in her hands, and she'll finally be able to--OOF!]

[Applejack's eyes widen as the much-larger-than-an-apple pokemon lands on her chest. The Pineco's eyes narrow, growling.]
Uh, hey there, sugarcube. Let's not get too hasty...
[The feed cuts with the sound of an explosion.]

[Action]
AJ... Come on you guys, we've got to go!
[She takes off running, her Pokemon following her... save for Snails, who finishes off the Nidoran and then stands there looking around with the usual Slowpoke look (a vacant stare) on his face. Twilight doesn't even realize he's not following, she's too concerned with getting to Applejack and finding out what just happened.
The run isn't long, and she quickly finds the remnants of the explosion. She tries to make out what's happening in the midst of the smoke, but it's too thick.]
AJ! [Shouting desperately, she rushes in to help.
[Action]
I-I'm over here, Twi. Don't worry.
[Action]
[Still, she does seem a lot calmer now that she can see Applejack. She's kneeling down next to her, checking her over for injuries, but surprisingly nothing but her clothes even seem to be burnt.]
Well, Rarity would pitch a fit if she saw you, but it looks like you'll be okay.
[Action]
[With how quickly Applejack goes through outfits, she almost considers just going naked. If it wasn't 10 degrees outside, that is.]
[Action]
Don't worry about it, though. I'll pay for it. Consider it a late Hearth's Warming Eve gift.
[Action]
[Action]
[She grins anyway though, and pats Applejack on the shoulder.]
Come on, let's go. I'm not going to have you stand around in burnt clothes and maybe get frostbite. Are you going to catch that Pineco or just let it go?
[A glance confirms that the scorched beastie is still definitely there, and not going anywhere for some time after that attack.]
[Action]
[She looks at the little monster, having since been spit out by a frustrated Munchlax.]
But... how do I...?
[Action]
You should have a few spare pokeballs, either in your backpack or on your belt, and even a Munchlax shouldn't be able to eat those. If you toss one at that Pineco in its current state, you're almost guaranteed to catch it.
Assuming you want an exploding pinecone on your team, that is.
[She would very much understand if that's not the case.]

[Action]
[She wouldn't want one for herself, but it's all up to AJ what she catches.]
[Action]
...Missing the pokemon completely.]
Dangit. Come on, Applejack. How hard is it to use your hands right?
[Action]
Well... at least it's not going anywhere?
[Action]
And one shake.
Two shakes.
Three shakes.
Click! Pineco was caught!]
[Action]
[She holds up a hand for a high-five.]
What are you going to call it?
[Action]
Well... how 'bout "Tumble", like how it fell out of that tree?
[Action]
Sounds fine to me. Better than the first thing I thought of.

[She's not all that perturbed by the laughter because, well, it is funny. Point of fact, she's laughing too.]
